THE SITUATION

The business works. Your teams are working on growth every day — commercial analysing markets, product developing the offer, operations optimising delivery, local teams responding to what they see on the ground. Each function primarily optimises its own area.

The programme creates the connected view — and by doing so, reveals potential that only becomes visible when the full picture comes together.

WHAT THIS IS

A five-stage programme that helps cross-functional leadership teams quantify the full potential of markets they already operate in — and turn that analysis into committed investment decisions.

The programme starts from the inside and works outward.

Execution — delivering the offer at the level it should be, everywhere you operate.

Existing assets — getting the full return from capital already invested.

Adding to existing markets — reaching more customers through new products, channels, or delivery models.

Geographic expansion — entering cities or regions where you already have presence.

New markets — entirely new countries.

The first three are where the return on every euro invested is highest. The programme ensures they are addressed before reaching for the outer layers.

Cross-industry benchmarking runs through every stage. The reference point is not your sector — it is whoever in the world is best at the specific capability you are working on.

The analysis is done by your own people. I provide the method, the tools, and the challenge. The programme ends with a decision, not a presentation.

WHO THIS IS FOR — AND WHAT YOU GET

You operate in markets where you know there is more to capture. The question is where the highest-return opportunities are — and how to turn that into investment decisions your organisation will commit to.

Each function sees a different picture of what the market could deliver. You have strong assets that could be doing more than their original purpose. Or new ownership or leadership wants a fact-based view of where the growth is before committing capital.

The programme delivers:

  • A quantified market potential view — by country, region, segment, and channel.
  • Prioritised growth opportunities benchmarked against the best in the world, not just your sector.
  • Concrete investment options with cost, return, and capability requirements.
  • A committed plan with capital allocations, timelines, accountability, and success metrics.
  • Teams that have built the competence to continue the work independently.

THE FIVE STAGES

01 Landscape

Where you stand, where the gaps are, what the full potential looks like over three, five, and ten years. Quick wins identified and acted on immediately.

02 SEGMENTS

From market level to customer  level — who you are reaching, who you are not, and what each segment is worth.

03 LEVERS

What stands between where you are and where you want to be — and which of those forces you can actually influence.

04 OPTIONS

Genuinely different investment pathways — what to redesign, what to scale, what to improve, at what cost, and with what

return.

05 COMMIT

A committed investment plan with capital allocations, timelines, and accountability — feeding directly into the company's business planning cycle.

HOW IT RUNS

Six to eight months. Each stage follows the same rhythm: three to four days face-to-face, then three to six weeks of analytical work with the home organisation. Single market or multiple markets in parallel.

Each market team includes commercial, product, supply chain or operations, finance, and local market knowledge — the full picture in one room.

Between sessions, participants engage their home organisation — pulling in data, perspectives, and functional expertise that the analysis requires. This is where alignment builds, not at the end.

At the end of each stage, participants present findings to their sponsor — confirming direction, challenging where needed, ensuring the work stays connected to the company's broader agenda.

Lets Talk.

The first conversation takes 60–90 minutes: what markets you are operating in, where potential may be under-realised, and what a decision-ready investment plan would need to include.

No cost, no obligation. If the Market Potential Programme is the right approach, you receive a concrete proposal within one week. If a different approach would be more effective, I will say so directly.
